Job Description

The Operations Analyst role in our Global Markets Operations team entails reviewing and approving significant changes to product data. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting regional stakeholders (including Japanese stakeholders) in resolving complex issues and executing intricate transactions.
• Serving as a control point for essential Static changes, adhering to current policies provided by internal users and third-party vendors.
• Coordinating the implementation of new products/services, procedures, and systems or hardware solutions to enhance operations.
• Initiating projects and recommending client data changes across various Lines of Business (LOBs).

Key Responsibilities

• Managing inbound electronic requests via a web-based system to create or modify product data.
• Researching, approving, or rejecting new client or maintenance requests from external systems and business partners.
• Participating in project work, including data cleanup initiatives and system upgrades.
• Assisting global production offices with client and instrument management, including data creation and maintenance.
• Maintaining communication with business partners through support email.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Background in Operations, Corporate Actions, Client Data, Risk, or Vendor Management (preferred but not essential).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Business Level Japanese for stakeholder communication.
• Excellent research skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience in increasingly responsible operations analysis work.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
