Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and amicable Operations Data Analyst to become part of our team at Dangote Cement Plc. In your role as an Operations Data Analyst, you will be crucial in analyzing operational data and providing valuable insights to enhance our cement operations. You will be working in close collaboration with different teams to gather, dissect, and interpret data, and offer suggestions for process enhancements. We are in search of someone who is not only proficient in data analysis but can also communicate effectively and has exceptional interpersonal skills for efficient collaboration with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and interpret operational data to uncover trends and performance indicators
- Design and maintain reporting systems to monitor key metrics and offer actionable insights
- Work together with different teams to uncover process enhancements opportunities and suggest solutions
- Ensure the correctness and integrity of data through frequent data validation and quality checks
- Convey analysis results and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and succinct manner
- Keep up to date with industry trends and the best practices related to data analysis
- Carry out ad-hoc data analysis requests as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Mathematics, Statistics)
- Established experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in an operations environment
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R)
- Experience in the cement industry is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for efficient team collaboration
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage several tasks
- Attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy
