Position Overview: Senior Operations Data Analyst

This pivotal role at Stericycle involves crafting significant data analytics instrumental in executive decision-making. By leveraging advanced statistical and data mining techniques, and tools like SAP, SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau, the Senior Operations Data Analyst delivers robust support in operational and engineering solutions. This dynamic position offers a hybrid work setup based in Bannockburn, IL, and assigns the analyst to specific functional areas based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze data trends to craft actionable insights for operational improvements and strategic decision-making.
• Design, develop, and enhance data visualizations and dashboards that provide transformative business insights.
• Communicate complex data findings across management levels from supervisors to executives.
• Ensure the highest quality standards in data handling and analytics with thorough quality checks.
• Adapt and respond to feedback, integrating changes into existing analyses and dashboards.
• Continuously harness new data tools and methodologies to address evolving business challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum four years' experience in data analysis, BI development, or similar roles.
• Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, or SAP Cloud Analytics.
• Proficient in SQL, ETL tools like Alteryx, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently with a results-driven approach.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Experience in healthcare or service industries is a plus.
