Ops Support/Data Manager

Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 per annum
KBR is actively seeking an experienced Ops Support/Data Manager to join our Hemisphere Task Order (TO) team supporting SSC/SZ. This exciting role is available at our El Segundo, CA, or Albuquerque, NM locations, where you’ll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment alongside Space Force personnel, support contractors, and system developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Hemisphere Security and Configuration Management (CM) teams to deliver high-quality products to the Government.
- Assist in the preparation and review of security plans and procedures, covering areas such as Information Security, Physical/Technical Security, Classification Management, COMSEC, and Program Security.
- Prepare, submit, and maintain personnel security packages for Special Access Programs (SAPs).
- Provide facility and network security support, including inspections and daily activities.
- Address security concerns promptly by executing corrective measures.
- Collaborate with Hemisphere leadership on security action items and activities.
- Work with the CM manager to develop numbering/ID schemes for classified deliverables.
- Prepare and present weekly program briefings at staff meetings on security matters.
- Support the CM team on data management and platform sharing (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, Jira).
- Coordinate and track the Government’s acceptance, comments, and change requests for classified deliverables.
Qualifications:
Required:
- BS degree in a related field (Information Technology, Information Security, Security Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering) with 10 years of relevant experience.
- CompTIA+ certification in Security, Data, or DataSys.
- Active TS SCI clearance.
- Experience supporting Sensitive Compartment Information and/or Special Access Acquisition Programs within the DoD.
- Expertise in Defense Information Security Services (DISS) and JADE database or the legacy Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS).
- Motivated self-starter with excellent teamwork skills.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Experience with shared cloud environments (Google Docs, Sheets, SharePoint).
Desired:
- Master’s degree in a related field (Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Security Management) with 12 years of experience supporting DoD acquisition programs.
- Strong skills in navigating physical and personnel security processes.
- CISSP, CISM certifications.
- CDSE Level 2 certification.
