We invite you to become part of the Defectivity and Optics Lifetime Performance Department, a key division within the Machine Conditioning cluster at ASML. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the quality and longevity of our optical systems, ensuring our EUV scanners deliver maximum productivity over time. This is a crucial role as the degradation of optics can significantly impact EUV power and scanner efficiency.

Role and Responsibilities

As an Optics Lifetime Data Analyst, you will:

  • Analyze data streams related to optics lifetime performance at customer sites.
  • Detect and address outliers in optics lifetime performance (transmission loss, environmental conditions).
  • Investigate root causes of optics degradation by conducting correlation studies with environmental and system parameters.
  • Translate statistical correlations into problem descriptions and improvement proposals together with relevant teams.
  • Define and push for solutions to enhance optics lifetime performance.
  • Monitor the impact of improved system configurations on transmission loss behavior post-rollout.
  • Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines, including dose control, productivity, and statistical analysis.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Master’s or PhD degree in Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistical Analysis, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
