It is managed by a team based in France that relies on an offshore team in India.
We offer you to join the Altair team in France to participate in the large-scale projects of the team, particularly:
- Continuing the development of the financial ecosystem covering strategic processes: from client prospecting, to proposal, execution and project management, revenue recognition, general accounting, accounts payable, ... around SAP applications, Salesforce, Clarizen, Power BI, ...
- Deploy the ecosystem in new countries: in Asia, Central Europe, Middle East
Job Description
As an expert, your main tasks will consist of:
- Understanding the business need, assessing the workload and designing technical and functional solutions
- Drafting the specifications and describing them in the form of specifications
- Providing the link between the business need and the functional and IT possibilities
- Providing the technical teams with the project documents
- Writing the application acceptance test plan
- Ensuring the coordination and follow-up of the functional acceptance test with the business experts
- Training and providing support to business experts in the use of tools
Qualifications
Technical Skills / Know-How:
- Solid experience in Power BI solution development, including designing interactive dashboards, creating measures and KPIs, and transforming data
- Thorough knowledge of Azure cloud services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, ...
- Proficiency in data query languages such as SQL, DAX and M
- Understanding of the principles of data modeling and BI architecture
- Experience in integrating different data sources into Power BI, including relational databases, web services and flat files
- Ensure data security by setting up appropriate access and confidentiality mechanisms in Power BI
Transversal Skills / Interpersonal Skills:
- Collaborate with business teams to provide advice and recommendations on effective use of Power BI
- Ability to work as a team and to manage cross-functional resources

You come from an engineering background or equivalent baccalaureate +5 specialized in business intelligence and you have a successful experience in the development/ integration of BI solutions (Minimum 5 years).
You master Power BI and the language SQL. Knowledge and initial experience with SAP are a plus!
Fluency in English is required.
