The Advanced Technology Group (ATG) is Dolby's research division, focused on pioneering insights and innovative technological solutions that drive our growth. ATG researchers expertise ranges across various domains including AI/ML, algorithms, digital signal processing, audio engineering, image processing, computer vision, data science & analytics, distributed systems, cloud, edge & mobile computing, computer networking, and IoT.
As a Multimodal Processing Team member, you will develop novel AI algorithms utilizing audio, video, text, and other input modalities. Your work will enhance audiovisual experiences and intelligently analyze or process content to revolutionize entertainment technology.
We seek candidates with solid technical skills, problem-solving and analytical abilities, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for audio, video, movies, music, or game technology.
Qualified candidates should be currently pursuing or recent graduates within six months of completing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, for 3 months between September 2024 – December 2024 is required. The internship start date is Monday, September 23, 2024.
The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $44-57/hr and may vary based on location. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay based on work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter will provide specific hourly range, perks, and benefits details during the hiring process.
