About the Role: Platform Engineer, MLOps (Remote, Brazil)

CrowdStrike is looking to hire a Platform Engineer for our Data Engineering team. This team is integral to our Data Science organization, providing essential pipelines, infrastructure, and automation for Data Scientists to train, evaluate models, and enable users to effortlessly analyze vast data quantities.

The Data Engineering team plays a pivotal role in ensuring our product remains industry-leading. You will collaborate with product managers, Data Scientists, and other engineers to build both internal and external services.

What You'll Do:

• Design and build services that power industry-leading machine learning products with a team.
• Develop automation tools for scientists to deploy models.
• Maintain and enhance production data systems.
• Collaborate with peers on code reviews and PRs.
• Work across several teams responsible for different aspects of machine learning data contribution at CrowdStrike.

What You'll Need:

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong programming skills in Golang.
• Knowledge in some or all of the following: Python, AWS, Kafka, Airflow, Docker, Linux, K8 (Kubernetes).
• Experience working with large volumes of data (over 1 Trillion events per day).
• Understanding of distributed system design and associated trade-offs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD best practices.
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes development and orchestration.

Bonus Points For:

• Creating automated/scalable infrastructure and pipelines.
• Contributing to open-source projects (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging).
• Experience with Spinnaker, Relational DBs, or KV Stores.
• Familiarity with the Big Data ecosystem (e.g., Spark, Airflow, EMR).
• Prior experience in cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
