Job Overview:
Verisk Nepal is seeking a talented and motivated Project Data Analyst to join our team. If you enjoy collaborative work, possess a strong analytical mentality, excellent communication skills, Excel proficiency, and potential for advanced skills, with experience in JIRA (admin experience preferred), we would like to hear from you. This role also involves using PowerPoint for presentations and a process-oriented approach.
What you will do in this role:
The PMO Analyst is responsible for maintaining data integrity and generating reports, interacting directly with project managers to ensure timely project updates and adherence to the overall project management methodology. This role requires a coaching mentality when dealing with a diverse project manager population, both in terms of skills and culture. The role will also contribute to setting standards for tracking and reporting budgets and will be the primary point of contact for updating project phase gate readiness and producing status, value, and resource consumption reports.
Data Gathering and Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze project data and metrics on a monthly basis. Identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
Excel Proficiency: Use Excel for data manipulation, reporting, and advanced analysis. Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets to support data-related tasks.
Data Presentation: Create compelling and informative presentations using PowerPoint to communicate project data findings and insights to stakeholders.
Process Orientation: Implement and improve data-related processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in data collection and reporting.
JIRA and Confluence: Extract and manipulate data from JIRA and collaborate with team members using Confluence.
PPMPro and EazyBI Expertise: Learn and use PPMPro administration and EazyBI for advanced reporting and data visualization.
Education Level: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Experience Required: Junior or mid-level candidates may apply.
