Your Mission as a BI Data Analyst

As a BI Data Analyst at BAM, your main tasks will involve:

  • Working closely with stakeholders to gauge their needs and crafting effective solutions with MS Power BI, tailored to meet business demands.
  • Creating and managing sophisticated data models, queries, and dashills to drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • Ensuring high standards of data precision, quality, and integrity within your Power BI reports.
  • Utilizing DAX functions and custom visualizations to optimize and refine reporting processes.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to foster robust data integrations and streamline workflows.
  • Providing vital support and training to end-users, promoting best practices in Power BI functionalities.
  • Engaging in advanced data analysis to pinpoint opportunities for organizational enhancements.
  • Developing comprehensive documentation and conducting rigorous tests to validate analytical solutions.
  • Advancing our analytics frameworks and methodologies to uphold data reliability and governance.

Who We Are Looking For?

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a BI Data Analyst, with proficient skills in Power BI and DAX.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, reporting, and visualization techniques.
  • Strong familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL queries, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and expertise in managing large datasets.
  • Proven experience in a team-focused, agile work environment.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of distilling complex data insights into clear, actionable information.
  • Experience in the Construction/Engineering sector is desirable, though not essential.
