Organization Overview Founded in 2004, Brilliant Corners provides innovative housing and housing-related services to California’s most vulnerable individuals, with an emphasis on those transitioning from, or at risk of, homelessness or institutionalization. We develop, own, and manage multi-family supportive housing and licensed residential care homes. POSITION SUMMARY The Data Analyst role will be contracted with DHS as part of our partnership in the Housing for Health program. Housing for Health was established in 2012 to provide housing and services to patients who frequented County public hospitals and were homeless. The program now provides a full range of services to clients, from street outreach to interim housing to permanent housing, with case management, benefits advocacy, and clinical services integrated across all service categories. This position will play a supportive role in the tracking, reporting, quality assurance, and billing efforts for CalAIM, a Medi-Cal waiver program. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Reporting and Analysis 2. Program and Provider Support Requirements The ideal candidate has experience working directly with a client-centric relational database and with managing individuals. They should have strong technical knowledge and experience conducting analyses and creating reports from a SQL database. They should be comfortable with a variety of analytical tools and have taken the lead on projects where the best way forward was unclear. A customer service mindset and a passion for social services are essential. Education/Experience Option I: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field of applied research such as Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Psychology, or Public Health along with two (2) years of relevant experience. -OR- A Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in a similar field of applied research. Option II: Four (4) years of experience with responsibility for planning, designing, conducting, and evaluating research projects. WORK ENVIRONMENT This is a hybrid role - chiefly remote, with one day per month required in-office in Downtown Los Angeles. This contracted position will terminate after 24 months.
