What You Will Do

As the Principal AI Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of generative AI and AI/ML solutions for our clients. Serving as the technical lead, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, tailored AI solutions aligned with clients' goals and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement AI/ML architectures that meet specific business requirements.
• Lead the technical aspects of client engagements, providing expert advice and guidance on AI technologies and solution designs.
• Contribute to the growth of the AI consulting practice by refining technical methodologies and practices based on the latest AI trends and technologies.
• Mentor team members to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Align technical strategy with the firm’s business objectives while working closely with the Director and VP.
• Design AI/ML solutions architecture, specify technical requirements, and oversee implementation.
• Develop, test, and optimize AI/ML models in collaboration with data scientists and machine learning engineers.
• Ensure scalability and maintainability of AI solutions, planning for potential growth or changes in client needs.
• Coordinate with data engineering, software development, IT, and business units to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing systems and workflows.

Requirements and Technical Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in AI/ML, data science, and a proven track record of implementing successful AI/ML solutions.
• Prior leadership or project management experience, preferably in AI/ML projects.
• Proficiency in various AI/ML algorithms, machine learning, and deep learning techniques.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, Java, and familiarity with ML libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-Learn.
• Experience with databases, data processing, data warehousing, and big data tools like Hadoop and Spark.
• Proven expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and their AI/ML services.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, version control systems, containerization, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience in designing robust, scalable system architectures, microservices, and API design.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and Matplotlib.
• Understanding of data privacy, security regulations, and ethical considerations in AI/ML.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven project management abilities to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
