Job Description

Are you someone who thrives in collaboration and loves creating insights that help organizations improve their agility in response to a rapidly changing market?

Although data is widely recognized as a key asset in both private companies and public organisations, many of these entities need guidance on where to focus their data efforts, and some don't have a proper data infrastructure to facilitate reporting and more advanced analytical solutions.

We assist our clients in setting a direction for their work with data and in enhancing data governance and data management. In doing so, we develop faith in the data used to support clients in making sound decisions.

Being a data consultant provides a unique opportunity to help our clients realize value by using and developing cutting-edge frameworks in data strategy, data management and data governance.

We assist our clients from all sectors in every aspect of their data journey. Here are some examples of our current projects:

  • Assisting a global retailer to develop their master data strategy, which includes a current state assessment of data capabilities, a future state design and a roadmap for bridging the gap between the current and future state
  • Supporting a global life science company in driving their data office epics across all areas, such as Commercial, Finance, People and Organization and so on, by assuming roles like project manager and business analyst, and even technical roles like data architects when necessary
  • Helping a government organization design and establish a reporting framework for monitoring a substantial infrastructure mega-project based on multiple data sources.

Qualifications

We are seeking seasoned data professionals who are eager to learn (and keen to develop) new methods of guiding our clients on their data journey.

Below, we have itemized some relevant qualifications for the tasks awaiting our new colleague. However, we believe that the optimal candidate(s) could come from a multitude of backgrounds, so these qualifications are guiding principles, not obligatory requirements:

  • Experience with data strategy, management and governance frameworks, operating models, policies, processes, and standards.
  • Knowledge of, or practical experience with, metadata management, master/reference data management, data quality, and data integration
  • Experience working with different stakeholder groups (data sponsors/owners/ stewards etc.) to implement new data governance processes and frameworks
  • Relevant certifications (DCAM Council, DAMA DM-BOK etc.)
  • Experience in Agile/DevOps project life cycles
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Danish or English.

Additional Information

You will be joining our Data Science team in Copenhagen, a team with diverse backgrounds. In our approach to management consulting, we balance engaging client projects and professional upskilling, leaving space to cultivate our other interests, encompassing everything from board games and fermentation to water polo, trail running, and cycling.

Broadly speaking, PA is an innovation and transformation consultancy. We believe in the power of ingenuity to create a positive human future in a tech-driven world. To us, this means using our curiosity and technical proficiency to translate our clients' business needs into data requirements. By doing this, we assist the most compelling organizations (both private and public) with their significant data transformations, whether they're local, regional, or global.

Inclusion & Diversity

We believe that diversity makes us a stronger consultancy, and we seek to employ people with different ideas, styles, and skill sets. This diversity fosters a vibrant, creative environment – one in which our people grow, and our clients receive sustained results.

We're committed to recruiting, promoting, and rewarding our staff based solely on their ability to contribute to PA's objectives, without regard to their gender, race, disability, religion, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, or marital status.
