Principal Engineer- Python, Snowflake Cloud Database, Chennai-India

Our  technology teams are tasked with creating a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure & Snowflake. Our worldwide clients rely on  data and insights to evolve and expand. We are in search of an experienced Cloud Datawarehouse leader to join our Technology hub in Chennai, to develop, using the most advanced cloud technologies, the platform crucial to the business. 

Responsibilities

• Design & develop data ingestion and processing pipeline using Microsoft technologies 
• Suggest solutions to enhance process quality, learning about emerging technologies, standards, and best practices in cross-platform development 
• Proven proficiency in implementing concepts and methodologies into resourceful solutions 
• Hands-on and leads a team of engineers 
• Delivery of scalable, quality, customizable and user applications/services 
• Continuously investigate, assess, and integrate new technologies and frameworks for maximum efficiency

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 years of total experience with at least 10 years in Data warehousing covering Python, Scripting, Core Java Azure Snowflake, Postgres DB, MongoDB ,Agile development, Bitbucket, Jenkins 
• Significant experience working with large data sets, with practical skills to design and construct robust ingestion pipelines using industry-standard frameworks. 
• Practical configuration management, monitoring, and performance tuning 
• Open-minded and quick at learning new technologies and tools 
• Prior experience working on cloud platforms would be advantageous 
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities, hands-on engineering skills and communication aptitude 
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
