About the Role

As a Principal MLOps Developer at Arctic Wolf, you will have the opportunity to lead the development of innovative platforms within Arctic Wolf Labs. Your role involves driving the technical roadmap for our AI/ML platforms, supporting the AI/ML teams, and contributing to key Security Research and Threat Intelligence products. This position calls for a seasoned data engineer with in-depth expertise in AI/ML concepts and workflows, ready to enhance the capabilities of our data science team and contribute to the evolution of our security products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the R&D of scalable, fault-tolerant microservices, focusing on test-driven development approaches.
• Create and enhance high-performance services that expand Arctic Wolf’s data science capabilities.
• Define and oversee the development of ML engineering, modeling, and operational strategies.
• Identify challenges proactively and propose innovative solutions.
• Promote continuous learning and technical growth.

Who We Are Looking For

An ideal candidate is someone who:

• Can effectively collaborate with our data science and ML teams across diverse cybersecurity domains.
• Has extensive experience in ML infrastructure, including scalable model training and deployment workflows within cloud environments like AWS and Kubernetes.
• Is skilled in data pipeline architecture and can implement real-time data transformation and machine learning pipelines.
• Is proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go; and familiar with data orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Step Functions.
• Has a deep understanding of data streaming and event-based solutions (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
