Opportunity

This role offers strong leadership opportunities across globally distributed teams. As a Principal Engineer for AI-driven Search, you will shape our content discovery and curation strategies, driving the development of innovative technical solutions. You will design, architect, build, and integrate advanced AI search capabilities, making a significant impact on our growth and success.

Responsibilities

• AI Technology and Architecture Development: Define and drive the AI technology and architecture for Seismic, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• AI Use Case Development: Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to build AI and ML applications.
• Integration: Lead the integration of AI capabilities across the platform, including data foundation, conversational intelligence, and video analysis.
• Technical Leadership: Provide strong technical guidance to data science and engineering teams, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
• Product Innovation: Work with stakeholders to identify AI-driven product enhancements and develop the AI product roadmap.
• Performance Optimization: Define and analyze key metrics to measure the success of AI initiatives, ensuring high-performance and reliable solutions.

Requirements

• Experience: 15+ years in data science and AI, or 12+ years with advanced degrees, with a proven track record in building AI software products.
• Technical Expertise: Strong experience in AI and ML model development, with hands-on experience in Python or related languages.
• SaaS Knowledge: Extensive experience in SaaS application development and cloud technologies, including familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
• Product Development: Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring and motivating teams.
• Strategic Mindset: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a strategic perspective.
• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fast-paced Environment: Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven company.
