What's this position about?

We want a Data Product Manager for a globally renowned company that leads in providing state-of-the-art logistical solutions. Your role will include defining data product scopes, planning their development, and ensuring that they create value for the client’s customers and the company.

You’ll closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to spearhead the execution of the data product roadmap, to ensure the products align with business objectives and play a crucial role in shaping and directing the development of data products.

What will I be doing?

• Creating and handling detailed plans for data product projects, keeping in mind factors such as complexity and value creation.
• Maintaining and updating the data product roadmap, modifying priorities and timelines as needed to coherently align with evolving business aims.
• Gathering and integrating user feedback into the product development process for continuous enhancement of product features.
• Ensuring the quality and integrity of data products through as-needed testing and validation.
• Installing performance metrics and tracking mechanisms to evaluate the impact and efficiency of data products.
• Working with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, PM and other teams to harmonize data product development with the overall business objectives.

What expertise do I need?

• Demonstratable experience in data product management, data analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, data visualization, and data management platforms (e.g. Adobe, Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Strong project management skills and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of data privacy and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with SQL databases is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Business) or data-related certifications are a plus.
