Role Overview: Product Manager in Machine Learning & Optimization

As a Product Manager specializing in Machine Learning and Optimization, you'll play a pivotal role in our team charged with launching groundbreaking product offerings and managing their life cycle from conception to realization. You'll act as the customer's voice, creating profitable solutions and overseeing robust launches that deliver exceptional customer value and experiences.

Specific Position: Product Manager—Natural Language Understanding & Linguistics Lead

In this specialized role, you will harness Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and linguistic strategies to enhance our conversational AI products such as the Chase Digital Assistant. Your expertise in computational linguistics will enable you to develop advanced conversational frameworks that meet and exceed our high standards of product scalability, reliability, and overall quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and champion a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with customer needs.
  • Lead market research and discovery processes to integrate customer-centric solutions into the product roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain a robust product backlog and strategically steer product development to align with business goals.
  • Manage conversational analysis and taxonomy, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize AI-driven customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with machine learning engineers and data scientists to infuse linguistic principles into product development, ensuring technical excellence.
  • Guide a team of skilled linguists and analysts, nurturing an environment of innovation and growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (>5 years) in product management, particularly in roles involving NLU and computational linguistics.
  • Advanced academic background (Master’s or PhD) in Computational Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership abilities in managing product life cycles and cross-functional teams.
  • Solid analytical skills and problem-solving capability.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in complex, matrixed organizations is highly desirable.
