Job Description

At HP, we're focused on modernizing print and scan experiences to add value beyond the printed page. We're looking for a Product Manager to drive the future direction, strategy, and product definition for data and telemetry within our Office Print division. This role involves collaborating with teams across HP to optimize our data and telemetry practices, ensuring performance and customer experience are top-notch, while also aligning with our broader AI strategies and adhering to data privacy regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define and represent HP's office print data and telemetry strategy, including investments in hardware, cloud, and software.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, product managers, and stakeholders to develop data products using analytics and machine learning.
  • Manage the complete data product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and improvement.
  • Ensure business and customer understanding across different print personas and segments.
  • Align with HP’s technical, privacy, and legal teams to form cohesive strategies.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform product decisions.
  • Promote a data-driven culture within the organization.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors, and gather input from diverse sources to guide future data and telemetry strategy.
  • Facilitate data-driven insights and align investments to maximize strategic results.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 10+ years in product management or product marketing with a focus on modern data product management.
  • Experience in the print industry is a plus.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience in agile product management and iterative product delivery.
  • Strong background in data engineering, modeling, quality, governance, visualization, and machine learning.
  • Passion for customer experience, ease of use, and product quality.
  • Experience integrating requirements across hardware and software roadmaps.
  • Knowledge of interconnected devices and cloud technology.
  • Strong project management and prioritization abilities.
  • Excellent collaboration and partnership skills within matrixed environments.
  • Credibility with design and engineering leaders.
  • Exceptional communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Experience mentoring junior product managers.
  • Strong leadership in dynamic settings.
