The Role: Product Manager, Data Operations Platform

We are seeking entrepreneurial product managers to lead and innovate across our product initiatives. As a Product Manager for our Data Products, you will operate at the intersection of data, operations, and distributed systems within the cutting-edge blockchain ecosystem. You will be the essential link between our engineers, integration teams, sales teams, and other stakeholders, driving our operational and data roadmaps to execution.

Your Impact

• Define product feature requirements and stories to set clear goals and ensure success.
• Oversee the delivery of operational work for Compute and Data products, including managing data feed requests, product configuration changes, and safe sunsetting of product versions.
• Handle project-based work such as major version upgrades, migrations, and new bespoke solutions or products.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with the company’s vision and objectives.
• Balance investments in new tooling for product scalability and reliability improvements to support existing tools optimally.

Requirements

• Background in programming with Git, software development, or as a data engineer.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a product manager in a startup or fast-paced environment, demonstrating leadership and resource allocation skills.
• Proficiency in sprint/agile methodologies, showcasing ownership and ability to release impactful products.
• Ability to communicate effectively across teams, anticipate challenges, and plan accordingly.
• Moderate understanding of EVM-based chains and decentralized oracle networks.
• Knowledge of Solidity-based smart contracts and their interaction in applications or data provision.
• Quick learner with multitasking abilities, prioritizing needs and evaluating trade-offs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and creatively.
• Passion for blockchain and a self-driven interest in the technology.
• Roles at Chainlink Labs are global and remote-based, with preferred overlap in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
