Project Officer (Deep Learning Algorithms)

S-Lab for Advanced Intelligence is recruiting Project Officers to join a university-level research centre in collaboration with industry. The position lasts for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance. Selected applicants will conduct research and develop advanced deep learning algorithms for medical AI. Applicants should have a robust background in relevant areas. Key Responsibilities: - To independently conduct research in computer vision and machine learning - To produce research reports and/or publications as required by the funding body or for distribution to the broader academic community - To provide guidance and support to any students related to the project - To attend, contribute to, and when necessary, lead relevant meetings - To handle any other duties linked to the research programme Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent - Strong background in machine learning and computer vision - Familiarity with scientific or engineering software like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc. - Research experience in pertinent areas would be highly favored (preferably worked in R&D sector with industrial experience in the project-related field) Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
