Opportunity Overview
As a Python Engineer within our AI Analysis team based in Cambridge, you will contribute to the conceptualization and enhancement of groundbreaking products that propel Darktrace’s rapid market expansion. This hybrid role mandates a minimum presence of two days per week in the Cambridge office, allowing for flexibility combined with collaborative, onsite dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the rapid prototyping of innovative solutions enhancing the efficacy of Darktrace’s offerings.
- Optimize the performance of current products and platforms, ensuring robust, scalable solutions.
- Advance our unique methodologies in defending against novel cyber-threats, maintaining Darktrace’s edge in cybersecurity technologies.

Candidate Profile:
We are eager to onboard engineers with a solution-oriented mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and outstanding problem-solving skills. Ideal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in Python programming and experience coding in production environments. Applicants should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team and may have:
- A keen interest in cyber-security and malware forensics.
- Familiarity with Docker and cloud computing environments.
- Experience with additional programming languages like JavaScript, Rust, and C++ is advantageous but not essential.
