Job Description
Total Experience: 5 to 8 years
Must-have skills:
- Competency in understanding requirements and translating them into test cases and SQL test scripts
- Capability to debug differences and document the identified issues
- Experience in data warehouse/database testing
- Mastery over SQL language
- Understanding of data warehousing principles is imperative
Good to have skills:
- Familiarity with Cloud technology and JIRA
- Experience in testing SOAP / API projects
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Determine scope and objectives of all QA testing levels
- Author test plans, formulate test cases, develop test SQL scripts, establish testing conditions, design procedures and anticipate results
- Undertake data warehouse / Database testing
- Cover all testing aspects, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Generate extensive volumes of test data if needed
- Document and report flaws using suitable tools like JIRA
- Validate solutions and pursue all testing cycles
- Examine and propose remediation strategies for quality deficits in data, and process failures
- Brief internal project team and client(s) on testing status
- Develop and impart best practices and standards for a solution or across multiple medium-to-large scale projects/accounts
- Mentor a team of two to three QA associates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
