What You Will Do

The Quality Assurance Engineer will provide crucial quality assurance oversight, ensuring that business solutions deliver an exceptional customer experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing test plans and scripts.
  • Tracking defects and fixes in product and software application development.
  • Operating at the highest technical level during all phases of the software lifecycle.
  • Monitoring and reporting data or software quality issues under the direction of a manager or Team Lead.

What You Will Need

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Software Development Lifecycles and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with Test Case Management Tools (e.g., TestRail, Quality Center, Azure DevOps Test Manager).
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and understanding database structures.
  • Experience with tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting/problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands.

What Would Be Nice to Have

  • Experience testing APIs using tools such as SoapUI or Postman.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, SmartBear TestComplete, Tricentis Tosca, Eggplant, or Katalon.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
  • Specific experience with SmartBear TestComplete or ReadyAPI.
  • Experience using Jira to manage user stories and bugs.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • ISTQB Foundation level certification or higher.
  • Experience testing ETL processes.
