Position Summary

The role of data quality analyst is to ensure that the data used in our organization are accurate, reliable, consistent and match predefined standards. Our primary objective is to maintain and improve the overall data quality, which is essential for informed decision-making, efficient operations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the "Data Governance" project which is currently ongoing in our company, inclusive of data flows, data domain ownership, and data definitions.
• Our data platform is recognized by Microsoft as the best data and analytics solution in the Czech Republic and you will provide assistance in further developing it, given that data quality is a fundamental prerequisite for continued usage.
• Integration of new data sources into the data platform to ensure our data quality standards are met.
• Evaluation of the quality of data from different source systems.
• Identification and documentation of anomalies, inconsistencies, and errors in data.
• Collaborating closely with data owners, systems administrators, and other teams to correct data errors and inconsistencies.
• Creation and implementation of data cleansing processes to correct or eliminate erroneous or incomplete data.
• Development and implementation of validation processes to verify the accuracy and completeness of data.
• Understanding root causes of data quality problems and working with data owners to find ways to enhance quality.
• Establishing procedures and processes to prevent data errors, duplications, and inconsistencies.
• Working with data engineers, data analysts, and other teams to ensure compliance with data quality standards and requirements
• Preparing regular reports on data quality status and trends.
• Presentation of findings and recommendations.
• Training data users and stakeholders to improve knowledge of data quality standards and best practices

Qualifications

• Data-related experience.
• Proficiency in Excel is a must.
• Attention to detail, reliability, independence, and consistency.
• Strong communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving curiosity.
• Fluency in Czech and English.
