Job Description

As a Quant Analytics Associate within the Data and Analytics team, you will be an integral part of our connected commerce Analytics team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners to provide descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics insights. Your goal will be to build consensus on customer engagement strategies by defining metrics, sourcing data, developing queries, and creating comprehensive reports.

Job Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into robust data models that support long-term solutions.
  • Create high-quality data points to reduce redundancy and ensure data reliability.
  • Rationalize complex normalized data sets for cross-organizational consumption.
  • Collaborate with Product, Data Management, Strategy, Technology teams, and broader D&A resources across multiple functions to understand business requirements.
  • Transform data into actionable insights and present compelling stories for stakeholder decision-making.
  • Leverage experience in automating and optimizing recurrent reports.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics and a degree in a quantitative or related field.
  • Proven ability to initiate and independently complete projects and tasks.
  • Experience with data visualization techniques for analysis and presentation.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau.
  • Experience with Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, and SQL databases.
  • Adept at explaining complex concepts in an understandable manner for diverse audiences.
  • Intellectually curious, innovative, and eager to learn new skills.
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Operational business knowledge of processes, data, controls, and technology platforms.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of analytics experience.
  • Experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology, or finance industries.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Machine Learning.
  • Strong SQL skills for data retrieval using multiple joins, sub-queries, and advanced functions in an enterprise-scale database environment (Teradata, Hadoop, AWS, etc.).
  • Experience with business intelligence and data wrangling tools such as SAS EG, SAS Viya, Python, Snowflake, and Alteryx.
  • Proficiency in data visualization techniques (Tableau preferred).
  • Basic skills in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Cloud-based data solutions and tools (AWS, Snowflake).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
