About the Role

We are seeking a talented associate with strong skills in process improvement, data analysis, and communication to join the Content and Research Excellence (CRE) team within Gartner’s Research and Advisory (R&A) business unit. In this role, you will partner with various CRE leaders who oversee teams of content strategists, writers, editors, visual designers, and program managers. You will collect, reconcile, and analyze multiple data sets to enhance operational productivity and the quality of outputs. Reporting to the VP of Topic Sensing, you will also contribute to designing and building demand sensing tools to support senior leaders in managing Gartner’s content and topic coverage.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with leaders to understand their team’s core responsibilities, routines, and business challenges, and help design suitable measurement tools.
  • Collect, synthesize, and analyze reported and observed data from various sources to produce easy-to-understand analyses.
  • Develop and maintain an authoritative understanding of data sets used to track activities and content performance metrics.
  • Present compelling data-driven stories and visualizations, and make recommendations for improving performance and operational efficiency.
  • Effectively communicate best practices on planning, creating, managing, and promoting content based on analysis.

What You’ll Need

  • 4-5 years of experience in Operations Research, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing Analytics, or other data science fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing Analytics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Excellent logic and project management skills, with the ability to solicit feedback effectively and implement changes.
  • Native-level verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • High data literacy and a passion for data science.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, statistical methodologies, and data visualization.
