About the Role
Title: R&D Data and Decision Sciences Sr. Manager
Data is the new gold, transforming how we work in Decision and Data Science within our Research and Development organization. We are seeking a Sr. Manager for Data & Decision Science to lead, innovate, and collaborate with various business leaders. If you have a knack for sophisticated analytical models and enjoy driving digital transformation, this role is for you.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and develop analyses to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with organizational partners to build AI/ML products that solve complex business problems.
- Identify key business questions and prioritize resources to address critical issues.
- Design frameworks for model tuning and performance monitoring.
- Lead the development, deployment, and support of digital solutions.
- Work with data engineers to ensure robust data models for dashboards.
- Ensure the agility and efficiency of integrated business and system processes.
- Effectively communicate digital technologies and solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate on multi-functional digital transformation initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in data science and digital solutions.
- Develop relationships with senior leaders to present innovative digital solutions.
- Mentor and coach a team of high-performing data scientists.

Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate with 2+ years, or Master’s with 6+ years, or Bachelor’s with 8+ years, or Associate degree with 10+ years, or High school diploma with 12+ years of experience in a relevant field like statistics, data science, operations research, mathematics, econometrics, or business administration.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in complex analytical projects using quantitative methods, multivariate statistics, and predictive modeling.
- Experience building and optimizing machine learning models.
- Proficiency in Python, R, Scala, Java, SQL, Tableau, and other relevant technologies.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience with DevOps, Agile, and industry-standard software practices.
- Bio/Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
