About Your Role:

As a Regional Data Lead - APAC, you will play a crucial role in extracting insights from complex datasets to support our digital strategies. You will lead teams in analyzing trends, performance metrics, and customer behavior, providing a data-driven foundation for decision-making and measuring the impact of digital initiatives. This full-time role demands a high level of commitment and expertise in data analytics and data management.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure clear communication channels to align digital transformation and data projects with business objectives. Additionally, you will oversee the execution and ROI outcomes of various digital initiatives and data-related projects. Staying updated on industry news and trends in emerging technologies is essential for this role. Exposure to Oracle Fusion (FAW/OAC etc.) is preferred.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading teams of data scientists and data analysts to execute projects and produce business deliverables.
  • Developing strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Defining company-wide metrics and identifying relevant data sources.
  • Selecting, configuring, and implementing analytics solutions.
  • Building systems to transform raw data into actionable insights.
  • Applying industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance.
  • Analyzing large datasets to derive patterns and trends for business insights.
  • Solving business problems using logic and creativity.
  • Utilizing data visualization and storytelling to create custom reports and presentations.
  • Coordinating tasks for teams working on big data projects and ensuring efficient completion.
  • Communicating with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment with company digital strategies.

Qualifications

What We Will Be Looking For In You:

  • Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in engineering (preferably computer science/IT), statistics, data management, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience as an Analytics Manager or Data Scientist.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and R languages; knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) techniques and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, SAS).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems.
  • Strong logical reasoning skills and business intelligence.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to rapidly and continually engage key resources/stakeholders for their input.
  • A keen interest in digital transformation and optimization.
  • Outstanding communication skills, decisiveness, resilience, and flexibility.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region or outside as per business needs.
  • Previous hands-on experience with operational and analytical BI tools is highly desired (e.g., Oracle OTBI, FAW, Cognos, Power BI, Google Data Studio, etc.).
