Truveta was founded in the Pacific Northwest, but we have employees all over the country. Our team enjoys the flexibility of a hybrid working model and the ability to work from anywhere. Physical attendance is required for two weeks per year during Truveta Planning Weeks.

To maximize team productivity, we schedule meetings based on the Pacific Time zone. We avoid scheduling recurring meetings that start after 3pm PT, but ad hoc meetings may occur between 8am-6pm Pacific Time.

This Opportunity

This customer-facing Customer Success Research Analyst role is high-impact and challenging, requiring a broad set of skills. It offers unique growth opportunities by working with an unprecedented amount of high-quality real-world Electronic Health Record (EHR) data. You will be solving significant problems in healthcare using an EHR database of approximately 100 million patients (and growing!) and making an impact on patient care. This position reports to our Director of Research Success under the Partner team, supporting strategic engagements with our Life Sciences partners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Use technical skills to handle customer analysis requests, deliver studies and results using SQL, R, and Python within agreed deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Life Sciences customers on analyses, helping them produce peer-reviewed publications.
  • Communicate the status of various projects and collaborate with success managers to ensure Truveta clients can successfully use the platform.
  • Excel in providing technical analytics support and work directly with customers on calls to troubleshoot their analyses.
  • Help customers achieve their goals by teaching them how to process and analyze data using SQL, R, and Python on RWD to address their empirical questions.
  • Write regex queries using Databricks SQL to extract clinical concepts from clinical notes as per customer request.
  • Create onboarding materials as the Truveta platform evolves to aid new researchers with our increasing capabilities.
  • Work closely with other Truveta teams to perform investigations of data sources to reassure current customers.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams based on customer requests to inform Truveta's product roadmap.

Required Skills

  • Undergraduate or graduate level education in clinical research, data analysis, clinical informatics, or a related field.
  • Experience in working with large databases consisting of millions of patients' data.
  • 3+ years of experience processing and analyzing Electronic Health Record data or other Real-World Data sources in life science companies, CROs, other EHR data companies, or healthcare using SQL, R, and Python.
  • Willingness to learn new coding languages including internal proprietary coding language to analyze data and build cohorts.
  • 2+ years of experience working with customers to deliver high-quality research analyses.
  • Capability to learn and adapt swiftly in a dynamic start-up environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Regex query writing experience
  • Knowledge of statistics
  • Experience with regression
  • Familiarity with Propensity Score Matching
  • Experience conducting Kaplan-Meier Analyses
  • Knowledge of Survival Analyses
  • Experience with Spark/PySpark

  • The base salary for this position ranges from $102,000 to $142,000. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target, based on factors like location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Some roles may be eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
