Role Description

As a Research Scientist specializing in Computer Vision at Meta, you will develop sophisticated models and algorithms that enhance our large-scale Computer Vision projects. You will play a critical role in building the next generation of AI-driven neural rendering models, designing groundbreaking deep network solutions, and contributing to pivotal research findings:

  • Lead initiatives to design and build generative AI/neural rendering models.
  • Propose innovative research roadmaps leading to the development and application of new models across various uses.
  • Create and optimize lightweight deep networks capable of performing on-device without direct oversight.
  • Engage deeply in areas such as data processing, neural rendering, generative AI, and sparse networks.
  • Share your research outcomes by authoring papers for highly regarded conferences and journals.

Basic Qualifications

  • Hold a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Graphics, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Python and PyTorch.
  • Demonstrated history of publications in prestigious journals and conferences such as CVPR, ECCV/ICCV, SIGGRAPH, NIPS.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience in academia or industry, with a primary focus on AI research.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with generative AI/neural rendering models.
  • Expertise in 3D Computer Vision.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems and evaluate alternative solutions and strategies.
  • Skilled in developing lightweight deep networks for on-device application.
