Nuro was established to improve everyday life through robotics. Our specialized electric autonomous vehicles are designed to deliver everything you need—from groceries to prescriptions—straight to your doorstep. Nuro's autonomous, goods-focused solution allows you to reclaim valuable time and offers increased freedom to do what you enjoy. This convenient and eco-friendly substitute to driving has the potential to enhance road safety and make cities more habitable.
The learned behavior team's responsibility is to employ advanced machine learning techniques to speed up software development. In this role, you will form a close connection with the software vertical teams to comprehend their challenges and explore innovative and advanced machine learning approaches to solve realistic, problematic, real-world issues. This could involve using self-supervised learning to learn robust representations, exploring techniques for out-of-distribution detection to solve long-tail problems, tweaking reinforcement learning techniques for motion planning, working on trajectory prediction and motion planning, examining the robustness of models to mitigate uncertainties, or attempting to construct an end-to-end driving system. If you relish tackling new challenges with a focus on finding practical solutions for eventual use in the vehicle, we invite you to join us!
Investigate new machine learning problems and models
Work on goal-based, conditional, and joint trajectory prediction and motion planning
Address the ambiguities encountered through the Autonomy stack
Construct effective and efficient ML data pipelines
Cooperate with autonomy teams to comprehend their challenges and priorities to chart the milestones of the corresponding roadmaps
Create practical solutions and implement them on the NuroBot
