About the Revenue Operations Team

The Revenue Operations team at Gusto is a comprehensive group focused on data, analytics, and operational excellence to scale our revenue growth. The Go-To-Market Analytics team, a key functional area, is responsible for defining and owning the metrics that enhance our Sales teams.

Role Overview: Channel Sales Analyst

Gusto is seeking a Channel Sales Analyst who will optimize our analytics, strategy, and insights for Channel Sales. This role targets B2B2B customer acquisition by leveraging Accounting Firms and other partner channels. Your key stakeholders will include Revenue Operations, Sales Leadership, and frontline sales teams. Your data-driven insights will enhance sales productivity, customer experience, and Gusto’s overall acquisition objectives.

This position reports to the Head of Go-To-Market Analytics and collaborates closely with Revenue Operations, Data Science, and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Build and maintain sales forecasts and establish KPIs to measure business health and efficiency.
  • Utilize data to drive actionable insights, enhancing sales team productivity and channel penetration.
  • Implement a long-term roadmap for strategic success in Gusto’s Channel acquisition efforts.
  • Serve as a key owner of insights and collaborate closely with sales leaders across the organization.

Desired Qualifications

  • Education or work experience in an analytical discipline or a related technical field.
  • 4+ years of analytics experience with exposure to business and finance stakeholders.
  • High aptitude for complex business problems, utilizing modeling and analysis through tools such as Excel/GSuite.
  • Experience with data visualization technologies like Tableau, Looker, or Redash.
  • Proactive and autonomous problem-solver with attention to detail and the ability to manage ambiguity.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of conveying complex matters simply to senior leaders and business stakeholders.

Compensation

The cash compensation for this role is targeted at $127,000 - $155,000 in San Francisco and New York, and $104,000 - $128,000 in Denver and most remote locations. Final offers are determined by multiple factors, including experience and expertise.

Work Environment

Gusto has offices in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees based in these locations are expected to work from the office 2-3 days per week, depending on the role. This applies to all roles within our Symmetry subsidiary as well.
