First Focus is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented team member to join our dynamic sales team. As a Sales Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Head of Sales to assist in creating impactful reports and provide valuable insights. If you are passionate about data, have advanced Excel skills, and excel in communication, we want to hear from you!
Collaborate with the Head of Sales to gather and organize data using Phocas.
Create accurate reports to provide insights into field team activities.
Perform weekly analysis and reporting on field team sales.
Conduct monthly comparisons of sales to targets and the same period in the previous year.
Analyze year-to-date sales versus targets and compare with the previous year.
Assess quarterly sales achievement against targets.
Generate individual representative sales reports by product group/brand for the month, quarter, and year.
Identify gaps in retailer and brand performance for each representative, considering territory and company targets.
Analyze data for pharmacy banner groups to highlight gaps or growth opportunities.
Track and report expenses by banner groups against budget, identifying return on investment.
Examine Stock on Hand (SOH) reports against retailer sales to suggest purchase quantities and boost sales growth.
Analyze sales reporting, assessing return on investment for promotions, and monitoring retailer growth in the market.
Identify gaps in our brand portfolio.
Track monthly sales for New Zealand retailers against targets.
Compare product sales by retailer for the current and previous year.
Analyze product sales rates compared to category benchmarks.
Monitor sales increases during promotional campaigns using scan sales data.
Report stock levels for Chemist Warehouse New Zealand, and analyze slow-moving and top-performing stock to guide future monthly orders.
Report on sales for the current month versus the previous month.
Monitor and report sales progress towards targets.
Report on Stock on Hand (SOH) for Mondo independent pharmacy.
Identify slow-moving stock.
Determine SKU sales rates for New Zealand independent pharmacy banner groups.
Break down and report sales by channels and brands using Mondo data.
Ensure pricing accuracy for all purchase orders.
Reconcile and file major retailer catalog verifications each week.
Check retailer costs to ensure accurate pricing.
Code and approve invoices by referencing budget data for accuracy.
Proficient in data analysis and enthusiastic about data and report creation.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with Phocas or similar data gathering tools.
Knowledge of sales reporting metrics.
Ability to analyze and identify trends in field team activities.
Understanding of budget management and return on investment (ROI) calculations.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on inventory and sales data.
Experience in Stock on Hand (SOH) analysis.
Familiarity with retail sales tracking and comparison methodologies.
Understanding of pricing accuracy for purchase orders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in reconciliation and filing.
Knowledge of major retailer catalog verification processes and familiarity with checking retailer costs for accurate pricing.
Willing to work on an AU shift (as early as 5:00 AM PH Time) and in a hybrid work setup.
