Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in IT-related sales or business development at a Business-to-Business (B2B) software company.
- 5+ years of experience in a SaaS business role specialized in business intelligence or analytics.
- Fluent ability in both Japanese and English to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven ability to explain complex technical principles in a consultative and clear manner.
- Experience with product demonstrations and relaying how customers can derive value from solutions.
- A genuine passion for data and harnessing insights from data to deliver value to customers.

As a Sales Specialist, Business Intelligence, Looker, based at Google, your role is to be the business advocate for our prospects and customers. This position entails understanding their needs intimately and demonstrating how Looker can enhance their data workflows. By closely partnering with technical counterparts, your efforts will focus on acquiring new customers, expanding existing relationships, and fostering business growth. Furthermore, this position offers a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge in data discovery and analysis, directly influencing our product roadmap aligned with customer feedback and needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Align business operations with objectives and key results, offer accurate forecasts, and report on business conditions within a designated territory.
- Develop and maintain executive relationships as the go-to Data Analytics Subject Matter Expert, guiding strategic decisions for customers as well as collaborating with Google Cloud Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) and Customer Engineers (CEs).
- Help customers pinpoint use cases that are apt for Google Cloud Data and Analytics solutions, clearly articulating key differentiators and measurable business impact.
- Collaborate with Google Account teams and Technical teams to foster pipeline development and drive initiatives by executing go-to-market business plays along with related efforts across Google Cloud teams and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Partners.
