Salesforce Data Architect Opportunity at Capgemini

Capgemini is actively seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Architect to join our dedicated team supporting government clients. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in designing and managing data infrastructure, ensuring comprehensive data management and security.

Key Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Data Architect, you will:

  • Translate high-level objectives and requirements into best-practice solutions relating to data in Salesforce.
  • Facilitate integration with tools such as Informatica, MuleSoft, Salesforce Data Loader, and Pentaho.
  • Understand and work with both standard and custom Salesforce object data models.
  • Fully utilize SOQL for data operations.
  • Apply integration patterns like REST/SOAP web services, APIs, batch processes, connectors, and middleware.
  • Convert client functional and informational needs into data requirements, process models, and active systems.
  • Handle Salesforce data and metadata tasks, including backup, recovery, migration, archiving, and seeding.
  • Perform data management services such as data migration, integration, database administration, ETL, analytics, and SQL scripting.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce application, data, and integration architecture disciplines.
  • A Salesforce Data Architect certification or relevant certification from Middleware providers like MuleSoft or Informatica.

Desired

  • Experience with SOQL.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CLI, GitHub Repository, package-based development model, CumulusCI, Snowfakery, YAML, Data Scripting.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Data Governance (including Archiving, Backup, Recovery, Migration).
