Role Summary

We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Salesforce Data Integration Engineer to enhance our Pfizer Digital Solution and Service Management team. Our organization is a hub for global innovation, focusing on delivering robust technology solutions that facilitate the seamless operation of Commercial and Marketing activities worldwide. Your role will be pivotal in integrating and maintaining data systems like Informatica, MuleSoft, Oracle, and Snowflake, ensuring high levels of operational excellence and customer satisfaction across 90+ markets.

Key Responsibilities

As a core member of our dedicated team, you will:

  • Lead the resolution of complex data integration issues, enhancing system reliability and performance.
  • Implement and manage proactive monitoring systems for key data interfaces, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Drive the development and implementation of solutions for recurring performance challenges.
  • Participate in data governance forums, contributing to the improvement of data quality across commercial systems.
  • Collaborate closely with various teams to ensure the security and compliance of data integration platforms.
  • Maintain, update, and innovate within our platform environments, keeping them in line with the latest standards.

Professional Expertise

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data integration with a focus on application development and support.
  • Proven ability in managing integrations involving Salesforce, Informatica PowerCenter, MuleSoft, and other platforms.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a global team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with:

  • The Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industries.
  • Advanced certifications in Informatica, MuleSoft, Snowflake/Oracle, or Salesforce.
  • Agile development methodologies.
  • CRM solutions, particularly Salesforce.com/Veeva.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role offers flexible work location options with a requirement to be onsite at Pfizer at least 2-3 days a week. While primarily office-based, this position provides the flexibility needed to ensure a balance between work and personal life. Our team supports critical functions that may require availability during weekends or holidays as necessary.
