Responsibilities

Join Capgemini in Charlotte, NC, as a SAS Developer, where you will be instrumental in harnessing the power of data. Your primary duties will involve:

• Developing and scripting efficient SAS programs for large data analysis and manipulations.
• Optimizing SAS code for robust ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) processes.
• Building and managing SAS datasets, tables, and views for data reporting and analysis.
• Validating data quality and performing quality assurance to ensure data consistency.
• Creating advanced reports and visualizations with tools like SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Visual Analytics.
• Working closely with data engineers to enhance SAS integration with various storage systems.
• Providing technical training, support, and mentorship on SAS applications to enhance stakeholder engagement.
• Maintaining knowledge of the latest SAS software updates and data management standards.

Qualifications

Successful candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Base SAS Programming or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in SAS programming languages and tools including SAS Macro Language, SAS SQL, and other procedures.
• A solid understanding of data processing, ETL methodologies, and data warehousing principles.
• Experience with SAS Data Management tools (SAS Data Integration Studio) is advantageous.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and detail-oriented capabilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
