Responsibilities
Join Capgemini in Charlotte, NC, as a SAS Developer, where you will be instrumental in harnessing the power of data. Your primary duties will involve:
- Developing and scripting efficient SAS programs for large data analysis and manipulations.
- Optimizing SAS code for robust ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) processes.
- Building and managing SAS datasets, tables, and views for data reporting and analysis.
- Validating data quality and performing quality assurance to ensure data consistency.
- Creating advanced reports and visualizations with tools like SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Visual Analytics.
- Working closely with data engineers to enhance SAS integration with various storage systems.
- Providing technical training, support, and mentorship on SAS applications to enhance stakeholder engagement.
- Maintaining knowledge of the latest SAS software updates and data management standards.
Qualifications
Successful candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Base SAS Programming or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SAS programming languages and tools including SAS Macro Language, SAS SQL, and other procedures.
- A solid understanding of data processing, ETL methodologies, and data warehousing principles.
- Experience with SAS Data Management tools (SAS Data Integration Studio) is advantageous.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and detail-oriented capabilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
