Job Description Summary

The Scientific Data and Products (SDP) group at RX is dedicated to enhancing product and data management to maximize the impact and value of our software and data solutions for BR. We strive to deliver user-friendly, integrated software solutions that offer a seamless user experience. As a Data Modelling Product Manager, you will lead our global Data Modeling Product and its associated matrix team to boost its significance in drug discovery, while collaborating with key business and RX stakeholders to identify and seize strategic scientific opportunities.

About the Position

In collaboration with a Product Operations Manager and an Engineering Lead, you will hold full responsibility for all aspects of your Product’s delivery, ensuring consistent and stable operations that meet all security, stability, usability, performance, and sustainability requirements. Additionally, you will manage the balance between investment and value delivery. You will shape the Data Modelling Product to enhance an intentional, integrated, and capability-based product architecture, consistently increasing its value to BR drug discovery missions per your Product Line’s strategic mandate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic context and focus to teams, facilitate prioritization, and promote team-based decision-making.
• Actively manage and communicate transparently with all key stakeholders to co-create visions and roadmaps for leading initiatives. Define measures of success and value delivery.
• Shape team culture and processes by demonstrating excellence in leadership and product management.

Collaboratively with business and RX stakeholders, you will:

• Define data modeling standards, best practices, and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain an efficient data architecture, ensuring data models are scalable and business requirements are met.
• Support semantic data architecture and governance aimed at enhancing BR efficiency.
• Uphold data governance practices to ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

What You Will Bring to the Role

We seek individuals with:

• Domain knowledge in drug discovery sciences and processes, with a drive to elevate the quality, speed, and impact of scientific research through outstanding software products.
• Experience in designing and implementing data architecture principles, data management, and modeling technologies, standards, and practices.
• An agile mindset with experience in Agile software development.
• Experience in vendor solution integration and management, e.g., RFI/RFP processes.
• Quantitative skills and the ability to leverage data and metrics for informed decision-making.
• Proficiency in English (written and oral) and strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to effect change and create consensuses through direct and indirect influence.
