Role and Responsibilities

Your main task as a Security Data Analyst will involve collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of security data to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing sophisticated security reports and dashboard solutions that not only track progress and performance but also facilitate strategic operational improvements.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced visualizations and dashboards using tools like Spotfire and PowerBI.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business and security teams to define success metrics and transform insights into actionable change.
  • Tackle bottlenecks in reporting and analytics processes, leading initiatives for process optimization and automation.
  • Monitor data integrity and quality, and refine data governance practices.
  • Conduct continuous reviews and enhancements of existing data management methodologies.

Experience and Education

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong analytical background with proven experience in managing and interpreting large datasets.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in programming (Python) and data manipulation (SQL).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in security-related data analysis within an IT or CISO environment.
  • Expertise in data visualization software (Power BI or Spotfire) and advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with macro programming highly desirable.
