Job Description

This exciting SAM opportunity is a hybrid hunter role responsible for selling Experian’s leading data management solutions. We value a savvy operator who can comfortably sell small one-off deals, such as a data cleanse, through to larger complex deals offering tailored data solutions involving our proprietary tech and expert consulting.

The expectation for this fast-paced 360 sales role includes arranging 15 new meetings a month and attending 10 follow-up meetings. This role will focus on Experian’s Data Quality solutions, including Data Validation, Data Management, Data Enrichment and Single View Technologies.

What you’ll bring to the position & Experian

  • You'll be delivering an agreed upon revenue target by closely working with our Clients and prospects, understanding their requirements and identifying ways in which we can help them achieve their commercial objectives through better understanding, targeting their customers and interacting with them.
  • You need to be agile in all your conversations and curious in your questioning to understand challenges, requirements, and opportunities. We’re looking for a dynamic individual who has an innately curious mind, strong sales methodology and a drive to grow.

Your Impact – What you’ll be doing

  • Predominantly focusing on identifying new business opportunities within existing customer accounts and prospects, managing and closing business within these customer accounts.
  • Proactively seeking potential new clients.
  • Participating in sales training programs such as SPIN and STRONGMAN, along with internal Sales Training Workshops.
  • Becoming a trusted advisor and a go-to Subject Matter Expert for your Clients.
  • Coordinating and structuring your weekly schedule with the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Taking charge of your own performance and self-development, in line with your personal goals and the Company’s objectives.
  • Championing the values of Experian.

Qualifications

More about you

  • You are a self-starter, comfortable with lead generation and attending meetings, with or without technical presales assistance.
  • A genuine interest in data and its applications would be beneficial.
  • This role is ideal for someone with 4-6 years’ experience, preferably with some exposure to enterprise software sales.
  • You need to be agile in all your conversations and questioning, with a keen curiosity to understand challenges, requirements, and opportunities.
