Role Overview

As a Senior Analytics Engineer at MANUAL, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing scalable data solutions that empower our business. By collaborating extensively with Data Engineers and analysts, you will spearhead best practices in data usage and collection across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop dimensional data models in our Snowflake data warehouse ensuring reliable, trusted data that adhere to privacy and SLO requirements.
• Act as a strategic partner to solve high-impact analytical issues utilizing predictive and statistical analytics, or data visualizations in Looker.
• Enhance data availability and quality, providing the business with reliable access to trusted data through expert SQL and dbt skills.
• Assume technical leadership within the data team, focusing on quality, readability, and impact. Manage data pipelines and document data lineage.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to deliver insights and meet crucial business needs.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
• Advanced expertise in SQL and a scripting language such as Python.
• Proven ability in modeling complex tasks and building relational data structures.
• Possess strong working knowledge of dbt or Dataform and analytics tools like Looker or Tableau.
• Ownership mindset, with a proactive approach to tackling tasks and challenges.
