Job Summary

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will support the lifecycle of analytic product tools and solutions, including gathering requirements, creation, maintenance, and quality assurance across multiple domains to develop high-quality automated analytics products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop large, complex analytics products (e.g., more than 1 GB volume of data) spanning multiple technology domains or data assets.
• Gather, analyze, and document user requirements and translate them into user stories.
• Plan and conduct stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and understand current business processes.
• Develop and maintain product backlogs and coordinate with others on dependent stories (e.g., when a new solution overlaps with a pre-existing solution).
• Implement requirements traceability from user stories to product features, and participate in discovery workshops to aid in requirements discussion.
• Develop and implement models used to build out a data warehouse.
• Lead advanced Data Build Tool (DBT) development projects, optimizing data transformation workflows, and ensuring the scalability and efficiency of data models in alignment with enterprise-level data strategies.
• Design complex SQL queries, optimize database performance, and effectively manage large datasets.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5 or more years of analytics engineering experience required.
• Experience in database management systems, online analytical processing, and ETL framework required.
• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI, including the ability to develop insightful dashboards, optimize reports, and support data-driven decision-making processes required.
• Experience as an Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, or Data Scientist highly preferred.
• Experience with Trino queries based on Starburst technology and developing models optimized for Starburst preferred.
• Experience with Angular development preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated Hiring Range: $88,900.00 - $132,250.00. This position is also incentive eligible.
