Senior Architect - Data Analytics

How You Will Make an Impact

As a Senior Solution Architect for Data Analytics in our IT organization, you will work with IT products in Commercial ART and set the functional and technical direction for our solutions in Data Foundation in Azure. Collaborate closely with project and support teams to ensure our solutions align with the architectural landscape and meet customer requirements. Assist product owners in scoping features and making appropriate architectural decisions. Building strong relationships and managing stakeholders will be crucial aspects of your role.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include:

• Designing and describing Azure-based Analytics solutions with project teams and Release Trains.
• Conceptualizing and assembling technology solution architecture designs to meet business needs.
• Designing and participating in the build of analytics solutions compatible with existing architectures based on ETL pipelines, Azure PaaS tools, SQL, and/or Python in Databricks.
• Designing and developing processes for cloud-based analytics solutions and applications.
• Acting as an SME on Azure cloud matters, facilitating other projects and the cloud operation provider.

What Will Make You Successful

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience as an Azure solution architect or Senior Data Engineer on a spark-based analytics platform.
• Proven experience with cloud services, Microsoft Azure: Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks/Spark, Function Apps, and DevOps.
• Extensive experience with data engineering using the full Microsoft Azure stack.
• Experience with Analytics, Data Warehousing, and BI.
• Experience in applying design principles, including business process design tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.

Nice to Have

Additional valuable skills include:

• Experience with Spark, microservices, and APIs.
• Experience with agile, DevOps, and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
• Experience with streaming data pipelines, messaging queues, serverless components, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with an agile culture and mindset.
• Experience within FMCG.
