Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable Big Data solutions
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Monitor, identify, and resolve technical issues
• Enable data scientists and business partners to leverage our platform
• Estimate effort, identify risks, and plan effective execution
• Provide end-to-end Big Data solution designs

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Big Data technologies like Spark, Hive, and Hadoop
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Experience in R & Sparklyr
• Proficiency in designing and implementing data pipelines
• Familiarity with Hadoop Distributions (Cloudera, Hortonworks, Mapr)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Big Data tools (AWS EMR, AWS Glue, AWS Kinesis, Azure Data Lake)
• Proficiency in batch data processing, real-time streams, ETL processes, and Business Intelligence tools
• Expertise in Logical Data Models, data warehouse and data mart designs
• Ability to write complex, optimized queries for large data sets
• Experience with Airflow is a plus
