Senior Computer Vision Engineer

Rapsodo Inc. is a sports analytics firm that utilizes computer vision and machine learning to assist all athletes in maximizing their performance. Our proprietary technology applications vary from helping PGA Tour golfers optimize their launch conditions to enabling MLB pitchers to improve the efficiency of their curveballs. Our current partners include all 30 MLB teams, MLB, USA Baseball, Golf Digest, PGA of America, and over 1000 NCAA athletic departments. We are in search of a Computer Vision Engineer who will design, develop and implement software solutions to address complex Rapsodo products. You will be a part of a software team creating cutting-edge measurement solutions which aid athletes in reaching their full potential. This role requires a highly versatile skill set, and you are expected to contribute in all pertinent domains. Responsibilities: - Develop optimized code in C/C++ with expert skills. - Utilize OpenCV in projects. - Work with OpenCL or similar computational frameworks. - Handle Stereo Camera Systems. - Communicate technical information clearly and succinctly to both technical and non-technical teams. Requirements: - MS/M.Eng/PhD in Computer Science or 5+ years of industry and/or research experience in a relevant field. Concentration(s) in: Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Image Processing, and/or Computer Graphics. - Strong skills developing in Python. - Expertise in image classification, segmentation, and feature extraction. - Strong understanding of linear algebra, optimization, probability and statistics. - Experience with software architecture and/or API design, complemented by robust integration skills. - Developing complex machine learning and deep learning models. - A background in Parallel programming. - Great command of English as you would have to work with both USA and Singapore teams.
