Work you'll do:

As a Software Testing and Automation Engineer in our dynamic GCP team, you will:

• Design and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for GCP applications, with expertise in Vertex AI and Vertex Gen AI.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts in Python or SQL, ensuring thorough coverage of all functionalities.
• Utilize Python for writing unit tests for custom code on GCP, and integrate testing processes with CI/CD pipelines.
• Test applications using Kafka and Kubernetes technologies on GCP, in collaboration with product teams to translate requirements into test cases.
• Analyze test results, pinpoint issues, and collaborate with developers for resolutions.
• Stay updated with latest GCP testing tools and security practices, striving for continuous improvement in testing processes.
• Document testing procedures and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies, especially Agile and DevOps.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for test scripting and experience with GCP is preferred.
• Knowledge of Vertex AI and Vertex Gen AI, and experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines are advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communicative abilities.
• A proactive approach to software quality and defect resolution.
