Your Career

Join our Threat and Detection team at the Tel-Aviv R&D center. We are dedicated to PANW Cortex Security & Security Assurance, pushing the boundaries of our product’s security features and capabilities, including new features, data-driven research, AI & LLMs, offensive security, threat simulation, coverage & detection, and real threats.

Your Role & Impact

• Research, evaluate, and leverage AI and LLMs
• Perform data-driven security research on big data platforms and self-simulated data
• Research top technologies and security features quickly
• Identify real-world malware, exploits, and protection methods
• Develop and contribute to data frameworks providing game-changing capabilities
• Partner with research & engineering teams to push product capabilities
• Gain hands-on experience with scalable, real-time detection/prevention systems
• Develop new tools and capabilities that emulate real-world adversary behavior

Qualifications & Experience

• 4+ years in information security/cybersecurity
• Experience in security research or data science
• Understanding of operating systems and low-level coding
• Understanding of attack surfaces and hands-on experience with cybersecurity technologies (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK)
• Experience in malware & exploits research
• Experience with offensive simulations, capability development, or vulnerability research
• Experience with XDR inner-workings is a plus
• 2+ years of data analysis/data-driven research
• Experience with Pandas dataframes and big data is a significant advantage
• 3+ years of advanced scripting/programming (e.g., Python, C#, C++)
• Experience with AI/LLMs/ML is a major advantage

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of fundamental analytical methods
