Job Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst at Walmart, you will play a crucial role in enhancing business efficiencies through comprehensive data analysis and interpretation. You will lead cross-functional projects, develop innovative solutions, and provide valuable insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data to enhance business efficiency.
• Develop creative solutions to reduce costs and achieve business goals.
• Direct and manage cross-functional project workstreams.
• Ensure the accuracy of data and reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate results.
• Develop tools to support decision-making and business cases.
• Act as Project Manager III, Innovation in the absence of the current PM.

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, plus 2 years of data analytics or related experience.

Essential Skills:

• Data Querying using SQL and optimizing queries/processes.
• Designing and implementing dashboards with Tableau and Power BI.
• Experience with Database Management Systems and data warehouses.
• Coding in Python.
• Exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, and preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
• Experience with ETL routines using tools like Tableau Prep.
• Implementing technical documentation for maintenance and knowledge sharing.
• Ensuring Data Governance and Data Quality.
• Collaboration with various teams and communication of data insights to stakeholders.
• Descriptive analysis for data mining to summarize data and uncover patterns/trends.
• Maintaining reports, dashboards, and providing technical support.
