Job Description

As a Senior Data Analyst based in our Columbia, MD office, you will play a crucial role in steering our financial direction and strategy. Specializing in Accounts Receivable, you will analyze factors affecting bad debt and develop forecasting models to bolster collection strategies. Your financial analysis will not only inform business plans for potential and ongoing projects but also aid in critical decision-making at the senior management level.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to improve our collection performance.
  • Develop financial models and strategic business plans for new and existing opportunities related to student debt.
  • Engage in ad-hoc financial projects to support business initiatives.
  • Implement key performance measures to drive operational improvements.
  • Provide training and maintenance support for our financial systems and reporting tools.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis and corporate finance.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong project management, research, and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Great Plains, FRX, and MS SQL is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Our commitment extends beyond providing excellent educational services. The expected salary range for this position is between $59,923 and $108,334, adaptable based on qualifications and experience.
